Grain

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

I finally remembered to drop my spool in at the developers last week. I barely ever use my LCA anymore, but every time I get photos back, I love it a little bit more.

It doesn’t magic away my poor composition or the shadows that grow from beneath the frame, but it’s still nice to go and collect holiday photos with real grain.

The fox, the berries and the dome

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

So! I don’t have nearly as much time on my hands to paint as I did last year.

Hopefully that will change in the long run, but in the mean time I have finally completed a canvas that I’m quite chuffed with.

Here are some poorly composed photos from my phone. A nice decent photo will follow in good time.

Her name is Harriet.

Tea with Tan

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

So I’m up and running again. New laptop sorted. Photos, accounts and files, salvaged. Posture? Back to resembling a question mark.

Yep. I get all curly-of-back when I have a computer in my life.

Still, t’is nice. I’m not yet entirely organised just yet. I’m sure there are a couple of outstanding emails that I need to reply to. If one of them is to you and you happen to read my bloggy-wog, drop me a line to shout at me.

Anywho, the laptop, the emails, the photos- it’s all a bit fresh. The novelty is back. And on that note, here’s a photo of the bomb-ass selection of desserts and tea that I guzzled in New York.

Number 16

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

Last night number 16 did to me what number 12 did a few months ago.

Only this time I changed my knicker drawer from a nice square shape into a rhombus by banging it into the wall as many times as I could muster.

It was about 4am and I thought it would be better to blow off some steam, otherwise I would be rendered angrily awake until it was time to get up for work.

When the askew drawer jammed, I turned to the offending wall and started shouting. It’s been a long time since I had tantrum. It felt nice, actually. One of those goodies; a complete fury orgasm that resulted in broken furniture.

I don’t like making mistakes at work. I want to be a good monkey.

Shazam!

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

I’ve got a new laptop! Woohoo!I’m not yet entirely through the emailing I need to do but in the mean time, here’s a super fun animation that my mate Ren sent me. We used to get up to all sorts of shit a long, long time ago and I’m gutted to find that I can’t find any photos to prove it. And all we seemed to do was take drunk photos…
